I can’t get enough of the old photos, especially groups like this one. Smile, ladies!

Sometimes I will alter the colors digitally in collages, but here I used different colored tissue paper over the text pieces and placed the image of the group on top.

Oh, Summer. How you have kept me from working and writing on my blog.

I can’t really blame myself for taking the summer months off. They’re so fleeting and I’ve just been enjoying the time spent outdoors with family and friends. And the laziness on those hot, humid days.

These abstracts done with tissue paper have been sitting on my work table since July and I’ve finally gotten around to scanning them.
