FLOWER BASKET COLLAGE ART

FlwrBsktPrintFinally back at work on some new collages.  This is a digital piece, all done on the computer, using much of the old books pages, letters and images I’ve been collecting and scanning.  The flower basket is a black and white image that I hand colored.  Hope you like it!   Oh, and I’m having some blank notecards made with this design, as well as an 8″ x 10″ print ready for framing – they’ll be available for sale soon.

PROJECTS IN THE WORKS

These last few weeks I’ve been asked to make some invitations and notecards.  First there was my niece’s baby shower.  She’s expecting twin boys and is decorating the babies’ room with an elephant theme in khaki and light blue, so I used that to design this invitation and thank you card for her.

Another project was to make notecards for a tennis player friend to give her girls, who also play tennis.

I made lots of sketches and decided on these as samples to show her.  We ended up using numbers one, three and four to personalize for the three girls.  They were printed on a cream-colored card stock with matching envelopes.

Next up is a wedding invitation suite for a couple who will be married in July. More on that in a future post!

NEW CARDS

I’m putting some new cards in my etsy shop this week.  They are blank inside, so they can be used to write a note, or as an any-occasion card, really.   The floral card is printed on linen card stock from a watercolor I did and the gentleman card was done as a digital collage, then printed on smooth matte white card stock.  My cards always include envelopes, too!

GREETING CARD SET

I’ve been updating my etsy shop and just added a new set of four greeting cards.  The top two cards shown below have birthday greetings, the other two can be used for any occasion.  All are blank inside, so you can write a nice, long, heartfelt note.  I like to package my cards in kraft paper and twine before I mail them off in a USPS mailer.  I usually put a little surprise in there, too, something I made, like a tiny notebook or some gift tags.  There will be a few more items added this week as well.
