Having a project like the #52tagshannemade to work on has become such an enjoyable habit this year. Each week, on Friday, we get a prompt and demonstration from Anne for the next week’s challenge. Anne Brooke is an artist and teacher living in West Yorkshire, England who posts on YouTube. I don’t remember now how I found out about her, but I’m happy I did!

FABRIC BITS NOTE CARDS

Going through my bins of fabric today, it occurred to me that sewing together some little scrappy bits and attaching them to card stock would make cute note cards.  And writing a few encouraging words, or a funny Mae West quote (“too much of a good thing is wonderful”), would give them some more interest.  The text from a book on the green linen fabric just struck my funny bone and could certainly be used to describe me too many times!
